Today I went down to interview Bristol Bike Project about their work with communities and how they are helping. I choose to go down when there was a workshop on because I thought as well as getting some good quotes, I might also get some good pictures.
As it turns out, the day wasn’t too busy but there were two people there who were earning bikes. There was also a regular who goes down to help out often.
It was a good session but I did have to wait a fair while to get my interview. James Lucas, the co-founder, had a few other meetings set up, as well as helping out around the workshop.
When I did manage to grab him, he was really friendly and we spoke for quite a while. Hopefully I’ll be able to go back over the coming weeks to take part in sessions for my blog.
